On March 23, 2023, VERITY Now organized Drive to Equity, a virtual panel event focusing on equity in transportation design. The panel brought together experts from various fields to discuss safety, design, and how women’s needs are considered or overlooked during product development.

Today, VERITY NOW, a coalition to end gender discrimination in vehicle safety testing, released a statement responding to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA’s) new report that minimizes the clear gender gap in vehicle safety and downplays NHTSA’s role in creating these disparities.
