VERITY Now thanks the House Appropriations Committee for their continued commitment to ensuring equal crash testing standards. We are particularly appreciative of the inclusion of language on equal crash testing in the Committee’s recent report accompanying the FY 2025 appropriations bill.

We commend the Committee for encouraging the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to use the most advanced female test dummies in both driver and front passenger positions.

With the continued support and dedication of our allies in Congress to ensuring gender equality in crash testing, we can increase vehicle safety and save lives.
