Getting Prepared to Honor Road Traffic Victims on World Day of Remembrance

WDoR takes place on November 19, and we encourage our subscribers to learn more about resources and ways you can get involved with the event to honor those we have lost. For more information on WDoR, visit the official site linked here.
DYK? There was once a mini-van prototype with a washer and dryer.
An insightful fact we learned via NPR’s “Women Behind the Wheel” series! This mini-van prototype was created to allow moms to do their laundry while their kids were at soccer. That vehicle was never produced, but “it's an eye-opening window into the long relationship between car manufacturers and their female consumers,” says reporter Nancy Nichols. Read more about how cars became a gendered technology in the NPR article linked here.
